The Badgers made amends for a dismal start to the season with a thrilling road win in the Big Blue Tent on Saturday night. Falling behind early in the first period, the Badgers took control of the game and never looked back. Goals from W. Bennett (3) Brown (2) Chamberlain, Armstrong, Manning and Oates left the home side desperado.

HONEY BADGERS 5 - 4 GRIMSBY STORMERS

 

The Honey Badgers overturned a three goal deficit against a travelling Grimsby squad short on numbers but full of spirit. Despite a string of heroics in the Grimsby net, the Badgers struck twice in the final six minutes to record the first win of the season.

The Honey Badgers missed out on a winning start to the new season, having fought back to level the game in the final period after giving up an early lead.

Goals came from Walker, Brown and Warren Bennett. A hattrick and MOM performance marked Bennett's return to the squad, after serving a full season with the Badgers' farm team, Coventry Bruins.
