Coventry’s Premier Rec Team™ made a triumphant return to match action on Saturday night at the much-loved Grimsby Ice Rink, dominating all 3 periods to secure a convincing 16-2 win over the Grimsby Falcons.

Benefiting from extra ice time on the back of a 2-way contract with the Coventry Purple Cobras, gritty forward Warren Bennett led the scoring, posting 5+1 on the night. The Badgers' defense was bolstered by debutant Leighton Hunt, recently acquired from Coventry’s local Learn-To-Play side. The win was backstopped by Vinnie Meddings, joining Coventry’s Premier Rec Team™ under the club's successful Warwick University Car Park graduate programme.
